Descriptions:

Have you been networking, but nobody is helping you find the jobs?

Then you probably feel like it’s a waste of time! You’re probably feeling really frustrated and discouraged. I know exactly how that feels, because that’s how it was for me in the beginning. I’ve spent 22 years learning, testing and perfecting my approach to networking … for myself (to get new clients), and I’ve been testing my approach with thousands of job seekers (167,000, to be exact!)

I’m going to teach you how to turn it all around!

Why networking works:

1. You’ll get access to the hidden jobs: 72% of employers try to hire by referral before they post a job online … because they know that hiring by referral reduces the risk of a bad hire DRAMATICALLY.

2. You will jump to the front of the line (ahead of your competition), because you came in by referral. That means you’ll get the first interview.

3. You will suffer under much less scrutiny during interviews. When you come in by referral, it gives the interviewer a great big sense of security that you aren’t an axe murderer.

4. Your referral partner will advocate for you … and often convince a company to hire you.

How networking works:

In all sorts of ways. Here are just a few:

1. You call an old coworker and tell her that you’re looking for a new job. She says “You’re kidding! I’ve got a friend who needs you right now. Let me make an introduction!”

Faith got a job in 3 1/2 weeks that way.

2. You meet someone new on LinkedIn who asks you “what are you looking for?” You tell her the job you want, and the kind of companies you’re interested in and she says “Oh, I know a few people in that space. I don’t know if they’re hiring or not, but I’d be happy to introduce you. Tell me what to say.”

Karen got a job in 5 days that way!

3. You tell your hair stylist you’re unemployed and she says “My next door neighbor has been looking for you for 6 months!”

Steve got hired in 2 weeks that way.
